Bistro
The Bistro is the heart and soul of The Douglas. This modern, elegant, and relaxed setting with natural lighting, reclaimed floorboards, cosy corners and intimate Chesterfield design styled booth seating is renowned for its friendly atmosphere and attentive, hospitable service.
Breakfast is served in the Bistro from 7.30am-10am; Dinner from 4.30pm.
Inspired by the fantastic produce that epitomises Scottish cuisine, our talented Kitchen Brigade at the Douglas actively source local ingredients wherever possible. Sustainable local fish and shellfish, Arran and Ayrshire lamb, beef and venison all feature strongly on the menu. The Douglas menus promote the island’s cottage producers, with local treats such as Wooley’s oatcakes, Island cheeses, Paterson Arran mustards and preserves, Arran Dairies ice cream and even Arran Brewery beers incorporated into the menus.
